I already decided I am gong to be too tired to cook (whether I am or not is not the question) so I am treating myself to a Portillo's beef sandwich with extra green peppers and a homemade salad. A great Friday night reward!

We might be going out for a late lunch for my honey's birthday so supper will probably be a turkey sandwich and raw vegetables.

This has been a particularly rough week at work for both the husband and me, so to "celebrate" the end of it, dinner tonight is a med rare flatiron steak served with roasted brussels sprouts and artichoke ravioli. Wine and beer for dessert.

Figured it out:>) Milk roast - the US version. Pork tenderloin, mushrooms, black olives, garlic, onion, bacon, rosemary, 1/2 and 1/2. Let it simmer. Yesterday's bread to sop up the gravy. SO will be in hog heaven.

I'm going Southern tonight: grilled maple chipotle pork chops on cheese grits (smoked Gouda), grilled broccoli/carrot/onion packets, a basket of chive biscuit bites, and apple tarts with French vanilla ice cream (I'll be sipping a Long Island Ice Tea while I'm cooking and humming because its finally Friday).

I hear you regarding your dessert choice! I've had a hellish week at work as well and I'm planning to reward myself with 2 or possibly three Long Island Ice Teas.

Finally got the cod! So we are having blackened cod filets with cajun red beans and rice alongside. I got napa cabbage to butter braise or something as a veggie. I also got some scallops to sear after that thread tempted me into buying some. That will for me and oldest since hubby and youngest doesn't like scallops.
