Doing a little Ole night here. Posole replete with lots of hominy, pork, spice and cabbage. (instead of lettuce as I normally get it) Going to bake a chorizo studded loaf of bread to sop up the yummy broth. The bread is Cuban but it goes well with the soup. I actually usually make the loaf with pork rinds to go with posole but don't have any on hand.
Ok MUST ask about that bread recipe! You make your own Cuban bread and for that I am giving tons of Kudos, but with this twist I will have to try it.
After a brief encounter with some overly greasy KFC and a lot of guilt, dinner tonight will be lemon water, an organic veggie and protein powder shake and a side of coffee with cream.
Time to detox that garbage out my system after feeling sick, bloated and filled with grease.
A 6 oz. non-fat strawberry blended Greek yogurt, a large slice of lightly toasted whole wheat bread with healthy margarine and strawberry jam and a mug of English tea with a teaspoon of sugar and a bit of fat-free milk.
I have 3 chicken breasts defrosting and I'm kind leaning towards chicken alfredo. I'm hesitant because my last cream base sauce separated, I worried I had problems because I had frozen the cream. I KNOW I've used frozen in sauces before....

Ate a late lunch of steamed cauliflower then snacked on guacamole & chips so not really hungry. I'll probably have cheesecake no wait Greek yogurt no who am I kidding it'll be cheesecake.
