I think the only burning here will be the jalapenos in my portion of the potato salad. To hot to strike even a match... We will also have some cold fruit as dessert....

Elizamary - OOOoooo! Italian Wedding Cake! Please post your recipe in the Recipes section so we can all enjoy it!!

cynwldkat - We, too, did not have too many fireworks. This was a good thing because we are under a "Fire Alert" due to the weather! So I guess New Year's will be doubly remarkable to make up for it!

Lacey - hope your hubby is better. Maybe he will be able to tolerate something a little more tasty tonight!

Tonight we will have "Bubba Burgers" with cheese, bacon, lettuce, dill pickles and tomato on them. DH only likes mayo on his, while I have not only mayo, mustard, and ketchup.

We are replete after a large breakfast, so we may just skip lunch!

Hi all-well company left after a hearty breakfast of creamed beef on biscuits and homefries, fruit, coffee.

Dinner will be for one with leftover pork, mac salad and salad-Mr. L wants only oatmeal. He says he NO taste buds at all-prob meds.

Poor George and his beautiful post-thanks for letting us know Toosie.

There's a very special lady on this thread who has been so very kind to send me recipes for Mr. L and Crohn's-that's TurtleMom and I cannot thank her enough!

Young Lisa, redneck sushi are also known as rollups. You take green onion or asparagus, a dollop of cream cheese, and a peice of ham or turkey, and make a rollup, slice it, and it looks like a bite of sushi, hence the redneck reference.
I like to flavor my cream cheese with roasted garlic or sundried tomatoes, mighty good eats!
