The average body temperature of a human is 98.6.
Let's just say Phoenix AZ has a string of 110 degree days. That's just 12 degrees over body temperature.
Pick an east coast city with a string of days in the teens.
That's 80 degrees below body temperature.
Southwest...10 degrees over BT. East coast....80 degrees below BT.
Now for people who say 90 degrees is brutal.....your body temperature is 98.6.
I will take Texas, Florida, Louisiana, Arizona, and any other warm place over cold & gloom.
I maintain my household at exactly 98.6F all year long. It is super expensive and we are all indescribably miserable but we know it's just our brains improperly interpreting the sensation, simply conforming to society norms. In 5-10 years, this brain malfunction should be corrected and it will be paradise... until we step outside, but that's the next project to tackle.

I'm from California and the only people who thing 72 is the ideal temperature is people from cold places.
Why are places like Arizona, Texas and Florida growing so much and will NEVER stop growing ???
Simply weather and the understanding that most humans desire to be warm, and 72 degrees is NOT warm.
Phoenix was 48 degrees this evening and I'm sure it's a bit lower now. Has Florida ever reached 48 degrees?
Now 48 degrees being cold is debatable, but Florida consistently holds higher temps in the winter time from what I've seen. Arizona shouldn't be winning it's just not correct.
Florida, you're staying awful quiet in this debate.....now either come on here let these people know that even south Florida gets cold snaps too or I'm going to let the cat out of the bag !
