There are some very promising signs for Abrams after the first day of early voting. Georgia Votes

Overall, turnout is 181% higher than at this point in 2014. African Americans, who make up nearly 30% of registered voters, make up about 34.5% of early voters so far. 40.5% of those Af-Am voters who voted early did not vote at all in the 2014 midterm.

Also impressive is the turnout among other voters of color. They are making up nearly 12% of the early vote so far.

The latest polls were based on the assumption that black voters would make up about 30% of the electorate and other minorities about 5%. She is pulling about 25% of white voters.

So if these trends from the first day of early voting continue into election day, it appears Abrams will pull this out, barring voting machine malfunction or other interference.

And this is how we know that you're not even attempting to be honest. You asked a question, jsvh answered it, and because you didn't like the answer you won't accept it.

This is how your ilk operates these days. This is why we cannot have a civil debate with you. But you lack the awareness to understand that, as your response to me will show.

Indeed, IF this election is clean, I think Abrams has a real shot of winning.

Man, the vote manipulation claims are coming out already. I swear the far left Democrat party is ungovernable unless they get whatever they want. This whole voter suppression hoax had been the most overplayed item in the past 20 to 30 years.

I had already covered it in a previous post one page earlier and had already stated that Obama didn't understand or didn't want to spur real growth that didn't involve government spending. You spur economic growth with actual economic policy for the private sector. Not spending public sector money. He wasn't posting anything I didn't know. Which is why I asked him the question because that is the only way Obama tried to do anything by spending tax dollars or Federally printed money. They guy was awful for GDP, for jobs, and for the economy. Why people won't admit it is hilarious. Obama did plenty of good things. Just not the economy.

Is this illegal? And where is the scrutiny for Kemp's contributors?

You mean like the Right's "OMG ILLEGALS AND DEAD PEOPLE ARE VOTING AND TAKING MY JOBS" claims? I'm pretty sure that was the majority of Trump's platform....

If you at all want moderation and non-one-party rule in this country, it is your duty to vote third party or Dem in this election cycle.
The really funny thing about that statement is the Democrat party is the one who has swung so far out of mainstream. Hell, Obama and Bill Clinton are getting laughed out of the far left these days.

Yeah, they probably would be laughed out of far left circles for being too moderate. But they are still the most recent major candidates for Dems. I still get in plenty of arguments with people on the far left who think socialist / communist / government run economy is a good idea. But on the whole Dems have shifted right in recent decades and become the party of things like free trade (which both Obama and Clinton are strong on and Trump is weak). So, as someone that leans libertarian I find myself voting far more Dem than GOP these days. If the Dem party really does go far left in the coming years I will vote accordingly, but for now I want enough of a democracy left to make that choice. And that means ending this radical GOP one-party control of power at all levels of government despite not even having a plurality of voters on a national scale.
