Well I assure you that older black people are statistically voting for Democrats at around 90%.

Georgia Democratic gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams and Oprah Winfrey have been targeted in racist and anti-Semitic robocalls by the same white supremacist and anti-Semitic group that has been targeting Democratic gubernatorial candidate Andrew Gillum with racist and anti-Semitic robocalls in the Florida governor's race.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution is reporting that the number of Georgians who have voted early in the 2018 election is a new record for a midterm election in the state of Georgia.

So many Georgians have voted early in 2018 that the 2.1 million early voting figure alone has approached the overall total of 2.6 million Georgians who voted in the entire election cycle (early voting and Election Day) four years ago in 2014.

Early voting has also more than doubled from the 2014 cycle when about 954,000 Georgians voted early.

For all we know 150,000 of those could be whites which puts them into the mid 60s percentage wise. That massive group of over 50s is still scary. At best 25% of those 1.3 to 1.4 mill are voting democrat. It could be as low as 18-20%. I still think a runoff is a lock
JayHey answered most of your questions but just wanted to concur that there are relatively few white voters encompassed in the “other” category and would not increase the white percentage very much. The lions share of “other”is going to be made up of asians, latinxs, multiracials, and American Indians. There is a very small percentage of voters included in the “Other” group that are of unknown ethnic background because they registered to vote after March 3, 2018.

Basically, you can assume that Abrams will get 75-85% of the “other” category.

Also, even though voters over 50 still make up a huge percentage of the vote, they still make up much less of the vote than they did in 2014. The 18-29 age group in particular made huge gains. Still pitiful, but they still get an award for “most improved”.

UGH. I hope that our resident Kemp supporters will denounce this.

But I am not counting on it.

Well, to his credit, Brian Kemp immediately denounced the racist and anti-Semitic robocalls himself as soon as he found out about them.

And it should be clear that not all Republicans support acts that are this egregious.

The people who commit these types of bigoted acts seemingly may have an all too large bullhorn these days, but really still are only a small subset of the political right, not to mention the entire American political spectrum.

I've been super focused on the early vote stats and polls, but this news this morning is the best evidence I've seen about how bad things are looking for Kemp. This is exactly why Kemp should have resigned as SOS.

Kemp's Office Opens Investigation into Georgia Democrats for "Possible Cybercrimes"

Two days before the election and we're getting "unspecified" allegations. Unbelievable.

That is such an abuse of power. How people could vote for him is beyond me. It's funny to hear about this though...he must be getting very very desperate.

Too bad those allegations don't hold water when you're the one overseeing the election.

Blatant abuse of power. This jerk is completely unfit to govern this state.
