That Service Merchandise was completely torn down for the construction of the Bi-Lo around 2005.

I remember when that BiLo was a "Super" BiLo. The sign was changed to just Bi-Lo in the renovation a couple of years ago. I never understood what was so Super about the SuperBiLo's. A bunch of hype.

No. The large Harris Teeter on Roper Mountain Rd @ 385 was just a regular "Harris Teeter" It became a Bi-Lo briefly before they moved to Verdae. That building is currently being converted to a Floor & Decor.

The Spinx on Woodruff Rd near Walmart has closed. Pumps are gone and it looks like tanks are being dug up.

If the tanks are being dug up something must in the works for that site. I wonder if they’re building a new Spinx. The one that was there was very small and outdated especially compared to their new locations.

Google has it's "temporarily closed". Maybe they are rebuilding. That's a fairly narrow piece of property though with Tanner Rd running just behind it. Made it somewhat convenient to get in and out.
