Belk at Greer Plaza finally getting an interior remodel. The exterior is being painted as well.
Glad to see this long planned renovation is finally underway. It had been previously postponed. I enjoy shopping at the smaller Belk stores such as Simpsonville and Greer as it can be more convenient than going to the big mall.
I am reading the plan. The retail center is part of a mixed-use development with 163 single-family residences, ninety-seven townhouses, and 216 apartment units.
Publix #531, Publix at Thornblade, 411 The Parkway, Greer, South Carolina 29650-4522, is a busy and strong performing store. Publix is speculated to want additional stores in Greer.
Ingle's is also speculated at wanting another store in Greer. Ingle's #208, 1524 Locust Hill Road, Greer, South Carolina 29651-6042, is constantly busy.
Saw surveyors outside the car wash on WH, next to the NAPA auto that moved. Any ideas what they may be surveying that area for??
Was at Sprouts yesterday, 2 Publix managers were checking out the store. I asked them if they knew if a store was going to be built in Greer any time soon. They said they heard there was a location secured but had no idea where.
Looks like the 2 parcels of land on N Buncombe, off WH have been sold, big SOLD sticker on the FOR SALE SIGN. Looks big enough for a Publix to me, fingers crossed!
