Construction is starting at the old hospital on Wade Hampton - can't be excited about a car dealership.

Something is going to get built on the big vacant corner lot in front of BofA. There's a rezoning sign there now. I have no idea what it is going to be.

Interesting when is the last time BOA constructed a new buiding here? It must be over 20 years. They seemed to have closed/sold some upstate brick and mortar locations. The Laurens Rd one is now First Citizens and the Greenwood ones are now South State Bank I believe.

BOA sold the lot in July to a Thayer Attarifi out of Chicago. The upcoming zoning request is for "Variance to setback requirements"

Can't imagine what could be put there, it's only .52 acre. With easements, being it's only a 3 sided property, 2 of the sides being along the road, it's not all that big. Can't imagine it could be any type of fast food (like we REALLY need more of them around here) due to size, where would there be parking, or a backside for deliveries. Hopefully it won't be another Title Loan company

I thought I saw where this piece of property was sold at auction. There's a zoning hearing on the 5th, I think it was. Can't say I'm impressed with the new owner upon Googling the name above.
