It's pretty cold tonight for August, just a hour ago it was 60 degrees at my house and there was a breeze.

Yeah, quite cold indeed! I had to put a light jacket on last night. However, the daytime was perfect! Same goes for today: 75 degrees, awesome skies, slight breeze.

Yesterday I don't think it broke 60 all day by the lake. Much of the latter afternoon and evening it appeared that the temps were around 50.

The weathermen are predicting we might break (in Chicago and the burbs at least) the all time low (187?) for August 30 tonight.

We took the kids to the zoo yesterday and wished we had brought our sweatshirts. The sun was shining, but the shade and any breezes where CHILLY. Is autumn early? I bet if I pack away the swim suits and summer clothes it'll heat back up.

^ Well it is supposed to get up around 80 in the next few days. I usually do not take out my a/c unit and put away my warm weather clothes until November. ^
