Zalewskimm 49776844 - LOL! Ya, we prefer the cool weather versus the hotter than hell- thus, move from Oregon (who's climate has changed), to here (Downeast Maine)!

Thanks for the encouraging word!

Oh.. you guys should go to a spotter training class. Its free. Its fun. Learn about weather. And learn how to report it. It helps NWS. You'll get a Spotter ID card if you pass the test. The class is free. Find a spot near you.

Currently here, at Aurora, ME...63F, Dew Point 60F, Winds 12MPH from the South
We have a Wind Advisory for gust up to 40-50mph - Our low will be around 55F....

All our Winter Weatherizing plans went with the wind today - off across the Birch Meadows....Slept with the airconditioner running last night (yes, we still haven't taken it out and it's now mid-October)! Longing for the crisp, cool days and the swooshing sound of leaves under our feet as we go for our weekend walks...
Just when we think the leaves are in, peak color, we are once again awed by their beauty, on our drive down Route 9....Gathered and dried a Quart-sizeed, Zip lock baggie of seeds from our Anchient Rock Maples and will be freezing them until it's time to plant....
Looking forward to returning to 40hrs (instead of the 50hrs), a week....It seems as endless as the Summer of 2017, that never quite left and leaves one restless in their sleep and suffering during the day in our bakery....
