Even sillier are the ultra-low-riders... there's a Ranchero-type vehicle I see parked at the Home Depot all the time (owner must work there) that sits flat on the ground when it's parked. Looks broken to me...??!

Ha, I know someone who had an unremarkable sedan that was 100% factory original, and it had to be CRAWLED over speed bumps, it was that low-slung!

I like my truck, it'll go over a curb easy enough but I don't need a stepladder to get in it

Rickers and wifey are alive and well here in the back room of our building. I just put in a freeze proof outside water faucet and now we also have a hood vent over our stove, I ran 30 feet of ducting to vent out a wall. Now all I have to do is get a fridge that doesn't need a bungee cord to hold the door closed !
We are still on the hunt for another income producing fixer but I'm not finding any that the bank will loan us money on.
I'm also still enjoying my new hobby of scambaiting. Today I'm expecting a scammer to overnight mail me a counterfeit US Postal Money order. If the Post Office doesn't want to buy it from me I'll hang it on the wall as another trophy. The scammer says he is sending me $1900.00 for a $180.00 purchase and expects me to refund the balance to his shipping manager ! (He'll squirm for a day or two while I don't answer) !
I evicted our tenant from our storefront, (he should have renewed his lease), because my wife wanted to start up her kayak / gift shop / jewelry combo store again. Why do women keep changing their minds ?

A friend of mine attended last night's Gordon Lightfoot concert in Great Falls. Did any of you all attend? He drove back to Havre through a blizzard. Brrrrr! It is still 90° here!

No that would be about 200 miles west of me. Interesting that ole Gordon is still kicking it. Your friend was definitely driving into the snow last evening.

Nice to hear from you plantlover.

Good honest work, keeps you honest and out of trouble. Don't cause the Nigerian government to declare was on Montana Rickers.

Well my extended bout of the gout is pretty much gone and I'm playing "catch up" on all of my projects.
I'm finding out a lot about our Conrad Building. I discovered a window in the side wall that faces outward in the original portion of the building proving that it was older than the building next door. It's also made from very old large red bricks. I think it was used for a doctors office at one time and it was the Sears store for a long, long time. It then was a gift shop for ten years before we bought it. I think the building may be over 90 years old.
I think I'll put in another radiator, this one will go in the back room that we live in. Last winter we had to duct-tape ourselves in during cold snaps !
