Has anyone asked whether or not they have been preliminarily assigned an apartment number? They sometimes/usually assign you a unit before your file is sent off to HPD.
Well, I couldn't help myself, so after church I drove pass the building. There is a street but not paved, it can be clearly seen from 59th st. 60th st is paved with a bike lane. I couldn't see what was going on in the lobby. Does anyone know what is next to the lobby?, is that retail space?. Also, coming off the west side highway I saw that there is coming a theatre at 57th & 12th Ave. I am so anxious to move forward with this process and to hopefully have the opportunity to experience this new & exciting community. July is here and before we know it that agony will be over and we will be in our new homes. PATIENCE!!!!

I love these reports of how it's coming along! I live much further up right now, so I don't stop at Columbus Circle much. What kind of theater did you see? This is so exciting! I think if we don't get news this month, I'll explode!
It looks like a movie theatre. If we don't get news this month, I will believe it was all a dream
and it is time to wake up. The dream of getting a letter, preparing all the documents, being "accepted" into a new and beautiful community and then nothing. This is all the makings of a bad dream.

That's great, I love movies!
And yeah, I agree on the bad dream I looked at my original application and I sent it on September 6, 2016. Getting close to a full year ago!
I just checked the date on my application and it was 9/1/16, my letter was 2/16/17, my interview was 3/20/17 and I was notified that I had been accepted on 4/24/17 > then nothing. Oh well, it is for sure out of our control. Just waaaaaait.
