The pumping of the WTC site has been completed. The WTC memorial will be completely pumped later today.

People's food stamps allocation will be increased by 50% for this month by order of President Obama.

One million meals have been distributed.

80 million gallons of fuel has been delivered. 28 million gallons of gas to be distributed in the next 2 days. There will be mobile gasoline distribution centers that will distribute fuel for free.

Senator Schumer has just announced that 12 million gallons of gasoline will be distributed for free by the DOD.

The L train tunnel is flooded and won't be running before the middle of next week.

MTA chief says L train tunnel is still completely flooded "wall to wall, ceiling to ceiling" and will be spending the upcoming days clearing it out

Free gasoline will be distributed from fuel trucks later today at the armories in the different boroughs. I think it was mentioned that it will be 10 gallons per person.

So far outside of my window i saw army hue choppers flying over my building due south. Also yesterday I saw chinnok helicopter flying over the east river when looking out my window. Army is doing a good job with relief efforfs, Bloomberg is an idiot for saying residents dont want to see soldiers they wanna see police officers during a crisis like this.
