American TV and movies often depict violence as unavoidable, also as justified. The hero is a hero because he triumphed by the use of violence. The masses love this.
For example "24".

Yeah, because crazed psychos planning to go to a crowded place and start shooting innocent people will be stopped in their tracks when they realize that owning a gun isn't legal.

What to censor? If you could link this to Palin, you certainly would - and then demand she be destroyed and never allowed to speak, but a violent song he posted cannot of course be censored. Not very consistent are we?
You have a nasty habit of putting words into other people's mouths don't you?

I thought that the accusations against Palin were false and that her crosshairs map had nothing to do with the tragedy.

Also Palin's a dolt, IMO.

And Mexico is so safe ever since they banned guns.

You think maybe he was listening to lefties instead. They use the same type of language. He shot a judge appointed by George Bush.

Maybe we should haul all lefties before Congress and get to the bottom of what this kid was influenced by.
Maybe, just maybe, you'd have a better chance of understanding all of this if you could eliminate the word "lefties" from your vocabulary for just a short while.

What does the word "synergy" mean? Do you know? I'm including Palin in a large group of people who are often very financially motivated to use the most inflammatory and colorful language they can in order to attract audiences, or to try to get votes, such as Sharon Angle with her "2nd amendment remedies." Palin has certainly done her share to add to the violent imagery which is so prevalent in US politics today.

Maybe Judge Roll isn't getting any press because he was appointed in 1991 by President George H.W. Bush?

Rancher ordered to pay illegals $77,000
Sixteen illegal aliens who sued an Arizona rancher, claiming he violated their civil rights and falsely imprisoned them by holding them at gunpoint on his property along the border, have lost their case.

The federal lawsuit against Douglas, Ariz., rancher Roger Barnett, his wife, Barbara, and his brother, Donald, took place before Judge John Roll in U.S. District Court. A verdict was declared Tuesday. The Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund, or MALDEF, represented the five female and 11 male illegal aliens.

Is reporting this bad or a coverup ?
The representative is a woman, and the more higher ranking public official. At least thats my opinion. I've seen the cable news has done a good job of reporting Judge Roll also.

Violent imagery? Like effigies of Bush being hanged, or "Kill Bush" t-shirts?

Why the concern now?
