Thanks for posting this thread. I was saddened that such a beautiful young lady should lose her life to some nutjob, to me She was the worst of the tragic event. My prayers go out to her family along with the families of the other victims and to the victims that did survive. I hope the shooter is having a real hard time at ths time and the sooner the planet is rid of him the better.

I'm confused. Is this about calls to CSPAN or an excuse to attack religion?

As a public figure Sarah Palin is responsible for contributing to the tone of political discourse in this country.
Where is the evidence that Sarah Palin's words influenced this guy? Do you have any?

Except there's no evidence it did in this case.

In fact, there's a better case that the angry leftest anti-government punk music he listened to was an influence, simply because we know that he atleast listed to it.

We have no reason to believe he ever favored Palin, and the efforts to hold her responsible smacks of political opportunism and exploitation of those poor peoples death.

I say that, and I HATE Palin.

I would guess that they were. The US Marshals told Roll they had identified 5 individuals as being behind the death threats, but Roll declined to press charges and decided to opt out of the protection by the Marshals because he thought it interfered too much with his family's life.

No prima facie evidence, but the coincidence definitely warrants further investigation.

Prior to reading the op's post I wouldn't have thought it possible someone would attempt to use the Arizona tragedy as an excuse to flaunt their personal anti-religious agenda. I should have known better.
