They have a Twitter feed from someone who supposedly knew him 3 years ago. In our era of the Blogosphere, that's apparently all the evidence it takes our league of junior G-men to crack the case.
She was interviewed for the today show. But, her live statements didn't mirror her what her twitter feed has said.
The preliminary info on the shooter, Loughner, looks like he's a certifiable loon. Nothing that's come out so far points towards him being left or right; just mentally and emotionally unbalanced. Maybe like Hinkley, the weirdo who shot President Reagan.
Maybe this wasn't necessarily about Congresswoman Gifford's political leanings at all. Maybe it's just the crazy act of a deranged individual seeking attention.
Right now, this forum looks pretty loony itself, with the hyperpartsans on both sides here pointing fingers and amping up the rhetoric.

The authorities? When you have the media already leaving out comments made by his former classmates that he was a lefty and then using other comments by those same classmates, when you have the media playing up the Palin "target" list and completely IGNORING the same type of list found on left-wing websites and USED by other democrats, when you have the media completely IGNORING his favorite video, burning the US Flag, something that is NOT indicative of the TP or Palin, coupled with his words, his reading, his anti-religiousness, well, you will no more get the truth from the media, who are trying to push the narrative from the Left.
Even FOX who reported that there is information that the guy was associated with a hate group, neo-nazi type hate group? You will not get truth from FOX?

The classmate was on CNN and she said she had not even seen the guy since his teens, so if you are going to determine his political leaning by her comment, and a music video, then knock yourself out. Flag burning is an anarchist thing to so , not a leftist. So far what I have seen and heard, his anti-government, anti-immigrant and pro-gun views and the fact that he attacked a Democrat point more right than anywhere else, but obviously he was a deeply confused individual so I don't think he really leaned either way.
All this talk these days about how those on the left or even moderates are not Patriots and do not belong in this country is taking hold. I see sigs at other forums like kill a liberal all the time. Add a former VP candidate's cross-hairs on certain people with a D next to their names and voilà we have many killed. Seems life is cheap these days in the eyes of many Americans.
