You can believe that foolish liberal propaganda if you want to, somebody breaks in my house or tries to steal my property your catching a bullet in the head.
And hopefully you would be charged with murder especially if they are just on your property. I do agree that if they are in your house, you have the right to defend yourself but if they are on your property and a warning shot will send them away, then there is not need to kill.

I think people need to stay out of other's houses and not take what doesn't belong. Get a couple of real big dog's and then a gun is rarely needed.
I see your point; however, the argument is not whether she was at fault. The argument is whether the shooter was also at fault. In most states, you can't protect property using deadly force unless you are in fear of your life, which seems to be the case here. The reason for the laws are because our society does not place property above the value of human life.
Actually in Texas you can use deadly force to protect your property and your neighbors property, which is why I live my state.
Maybe killing someone for being on your property is a bit extreme. That said, it's kind of one of the risks that comes with breaking and entering, especially in a conservative state where a LOT of people have guns and aren't afraid to use them.

I don't think it can be said anymore succinctly than the above. All the trash talk is just so much window dressing for the ugliness that is the soul of the true conservative. Most conservatives are Christians and belive that "thou shalt not steal... or else" but conveniently forget "thou shalt not kill". Hmmm.
MOBILE, Alabama -- Four days after being shot, 17-year-old Summer Moody was given a less than 1 percent chance of survival after her condition worsened Wednesday night, a family spokesman said today.
Moody was shot in the back of the head at about 4 a.m. Sunday, while she and three other teens were on Gravine Island.
The three teens who were with Moody on Sunday, Scott Byrd and Dillion Tyree of Stapleton and Daniel Parnell of Bay Minette, have been charged with first-degree burglary.
Earlier this week, Sheriff Huey Hoss Mack said the three are charged with breaking into two fishing camps on the island. Mack said two men on the island heard the teens and each fired one shot. One of the bullets hit Moody. No one else was injured in the incident.

the cops didnt do anything to zimmerman. perhaps you are thinking of rodney king? and in that case he RAN from the cops, and even after he stopped, he FOUGHT with the cops, thus he got everything he deserved(a solid beat down). if you just get pulled over for speeding, and keep your cool, then the cop will either write you a ticket or not, depending on the severity of the violation and your attitude, and the send you on your way.
