Damn, that Obama. Politicizing a political issue, the nerve!

I asked is it possible for the President to change his minds on certain issues? And even if this was a plan. That is now what I asked.

Got to laugh that some people are so dumb that they can't see the truth in front of their faces. Obama was pressured to say what he did. It is obvious to most people.

This president will do and say anything to maintain the status quo of the new liberal elite. If the mythical figure Satan was popular that year- Obama would endorse the devil. It used to be that leader were more concerned about being of service for a nation- short term and long term- Now it seems that it is all about staying in office...and taking care of the people is secondary.

If the population or part of it wanted to legalize killing dogs for sport---and it was the thing to do- Obama would be endorsing that also. Who cares what he endorses or not- History will have nothing to say about this president except one single thing....Obama was the first black president...that's it- in 50 years that is all the book will say..

Pres. Obama once again shows his political acumen with this move. This is going to fill 2-3 weeks worth of news cycle and divert peoples' attention from economics. This is exactly the kind of topic where everybody and their brother (or gay partner) can and will weigh in with an opinion. He could even get a month's worth of diversion.

He comes up with this in an election year in which he is struggling in polling. As the church lady used to say, "how conveeeenient."

Definitely obvious. He was playing more dodgeball than a kid in school yard with this subject. Sort of a "now ya got me, now ya don't" type thing.

The pressure was mounting for him to fess up, and be affirmative. He would have alienated a lot of his voters by not taking a stance on it as the questions began to pour in over the last week. People were tired of the ambiguous answers with the double dipping and dodging. But now that he does, I'm curious as to whether it'll effect some Democrats to support him.

Despite what some think, not all leftists are brimming with support for the gay community. Some are quite conservative on this issue.
