He is a racist. He picks up the Mexicans off the street for no reason. Some of them even turn out to be legal US citizens and residents. He has his deputies beat them up. Even pregnant women are beat down. Then he forces them to live in tents while mostly white inmates get to live inside the main jail which is air conditioned and heated. I am shocked it took this long for him to be brought before justice and made to answer for his actions.

Obama was stupid enough to take an oath to God to DEFEND the constitution!

Since you have the nerve to question someone else’s faith SityData. Do you consider yourself more of a Christian than Obama?

No, are You?
Do you believe people have the right to not be pulled over simply because of the color of their skin? Do you believe we live in a Nation where you should have to produce proof of citizenship (that includes teens) or you will be arrested?
Just so you know, that is not actually the topic of this thread.

Why is it that being against unfair treatment and discriminatory practices makes you pro-illegal immigration in your book?

No, I don't believe that anyone should be pulled over based simply on their skin color. No, I don't believe that proof of citizenship should be required when one has either a DL or green card on their person.

So where is this supposedly happening?

Sheriff Joe does very little. His posse doesn't go into bad neighborhoods and remote areas where the real violence occurs. He stages public displays of mass arrests at fast food joints and restaurants on occasion. He even had his own reality television show. Maricopa County has paid over 200 million dollars in lawsuits filed against the MCSO. Most disturbing is how Sheriff Joe is a beacon for white supremacist groups and he has become their symbol.

The good news is his time is up. Arizona residents are finally starting to see him for what he is and he is going to be out of office soon.
This.

If you have undeniable proof of all of this they why don't you present it to the DOJ? Hearsay or biased false accusations don't count. Ever heard of the term that one is innocent until proven guilty? Isn't that what our criminal justice system stands for?

People who live in Arizona including his supporters know he racially profiles even if they won't admit it. Arpaio's supporters are simply okay with it and the overwhelming majority of them are white conservatives so it doesn't impact them. However, I know many LEGAL Hispanic, Native American, Indian (India), Middle Eastern and other minorities who were racially profiled and pulled over for ambiguous reasons "driving too close to the intersection" or "weaving" and when they were pulled over, the first thing they were asked if they were U.S. citizens. One friend of mine, who is a doctor from India, was pulled over in Glendale and he was leaving the hospital and was pulled over for "weaving." He was driving a nice Lexus late on a Saturday night. My friend didn't suspect racial profiling until the deputy immediately turned around and yelled to his fellow officers who were standing several yards away: "He is English speaking sir" meaning they profiled him and pulled him over for a sham reason. That's what bothers people about Joe. Meanwhile, there are several bad areas of West Phoenix, Glendale etc where ilegals congregate at bars and clubs (this is where a lot of violence, gangs, and drug deals go down) and the MCSO won't dare go in there. Everyone in the Valley knows not to drive through those areas because MCSO is nowhere to be found in those areas.
