I can't afford a copy of my birth certificate, which I need in order to get ID. What does the State of Texas say to me? Now do you see what the problem with all of this is?

And if you are living in the US and undocumented (without a social security number or valid ID), then you shouldn't be allowed to vote. Why should you have a say in a government that you are not a part of??? What should you have a say where my tax dollars are being spent???

Either be an active part of the system and have a vote, or stay below the radar and be denied a vote. Your choice.

How is government going to make me have one? Who's going to pay for it? I'll gladly get one if I can get it for free, but I don't see that happening.

Why does it have to be valid? I've used expired ID without any problem. Is there any doubt as to a person's identity when they show expired ID?

Don't be stupid. We live in a connected world. I can "prove" that Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan have "ultra left association(s)." That hardly makes either of them ultra-left wing politicians.

It is a criterion so flaccid as to wonder why anyone with more than a brain stem would find it meaningful.

That's odd, how do you get your first ID then? I was required to show some sort of qualifying first class mail to get my first ID. I showed them the IRS letter I had just received (that seems to carry a lot of RESIDE cred in these parts).

So what happens ti poor people who live in their cars? They don't get to vote or get ID?

You are the only one being stupid here if you think an organization named after one of the Supreme Courts most liberal justices and who accepts funding from and is supported by such widely known leftist organizations like the Joyce Foundation and 2 George Soros funded foundations like Open Society and Democracy Alliance is not an ultra left organization

Unlike you, I have no need to twist words or create facts to prove my point.

Oh please, you can't afford a copy of your birth certificate? I'm not buying that.

Yet amazingly, he can afford a computer and an internet connection.

Undoubtedly he will come back saying something like "oh, I'm in the library using their stuff"

Is there some sort of identity fraud going on with expired ID? Or is the state looking for more revenue? Or maybe they're keeping tabs on you?

No, I'm in my rented basement room and I pay for the crappiest internet service in North America. But I'm using it to earn my poverty level income, so I literally need it to eat and keep a roof over my head.

I got my computer without paying cash, I earned it by volunteering at a nonprofit that recycles computers.
