im tired of people pretending that they are goodie two shoes, who never do anything wrong.

the truth: majority of people will take advantage of a situation to benefit themselves if they believe they can get away with it. that includes the majority of posters on here.

How is this related? The agreed price of the fuel was 49 cents. Whether it was intended or not, it doesn't matter. If you had 49 cents, you could rightfully buy a gallon of gas. So what's next... When a store runs 50% off sales, we are in the wrong for buying the goods?

Every person who used their EBT card, should be held personally responsible for ALL amounts unpaid, plus interest from time of purchase. Failure to reimburse Walmart will mean getting charged with fraud, and going to jail.

Consequences.
That's what should happen, but will it? Probably not. Someone in government will excuse them because of the glitch and there won't be any consequences so they'll be all primed and ready to do it again the next time there is a glitch in the system.

Absolutely not.

So we are going to be "moralists" now? Wal-Mart screwed up and basically gave away free food to people who have EBT cards. These cards have balance limits on them so how dumb of a manager of a Wal Mart do you have to be when you see multiple people in your store with grocery carts filled to the brim and EBT isn't working?
Make Xerox pay for their "snafu" not the Government.

Don't worry, the government will pay. They're O's base doing that looting.

Don't be surprised if those people are rioting November 1, because they still have a negative balance on their EBT Cards.

There's a thread on here somewhere about a US Postal Worker being beaten to death by an angry mob for the crime of delivering the welfare checks a few minutes later than normal.

So that's why when I lived on the same carrier route as a housing project, the project got its mail first.
