Correct. Probably 90% of us were poor at age 20 - 25.

There would be no businesses, people would make less money and be equally dependent on the government, and our "wealth" would run out.

There is an "Expo Center" around these parts...for years I've been saying that someone like, say, Herman Cain or Ben Carson should start an "Ex-Po' Center" to show the way out of poverty.

Always blaming others and by blaming others, you will not learn what you did wrong. If you give those people someone else's money, those same people will only repeat the same mistake again.
True. I didn't lose my house in 2008 because I had made the traditional down payment and had a fixed loan and it wasn't a McMansion like so many others were buying. I also didn't use my house like an ATM. Most people didn't lose their homes for the same reasons.

What changed back then was the greed and pretentiousness -- people wanted houses they could show off but couldn't really afford.

No one has ever listened to me.

That's where liberal policies want us. Have a majority of the population on the government teat, expanding their voter base.

The biggest driver of our debt is the welfare state. For you to blame that on "conservative" policies just shows how completely off your rocker you are. If the US turns into a 2nd world country it will be entirely the anti-competition, anti-free market, anti-working, pro-couch potato left wing that puts us there.

After all, that's what happens when you continually promise crap you could never pay for and scream at the top of your lungs to drown out the adults in the room when they're trying to clean up the turds the children threw all over the walls.
