To state that these people are oblivious to our laws is a tad racist don't you think?

Sneaking across our Southern border has become part of their culture. Puleeeze.

If I committed a crime while with my young children, I would be arrested and jailed by police, which would require I be separated from my children. what is the controversy in this policy?

The way to legally apply for asylum is to do so at the embassy in one's own country. Illegally smuggling children across the border IS an actual crime. There is no difference between smuggling children and robbing a Quick Mart. They're both crimes.

If someone showed up at your door, demanded entry, along with their entire family, with you footing the bill, would you let them stay? Because THAT would be the humanitarian way.
It is different.

Just like the analogy between government and business sucks. Two different things.

How is it racist to say people from other countries wouldn't know the laws of a country they don't live in?

I don't know the laws in places like France or China. Do you?

Well, to be fair, this is a new thing, separating kids from their parents.

This black and white thinking will be the death of this country.

That is why I will continue to encourage my children to immigrate to another country as soon as they can.

Quote the treaty Mexico and USA have that is the equivalent of the one Canada and USA have. Go ahead, because it doesn't exist.

Rather easy to summarize this one.

What country are they living in now? Are you encouraging them to do it legally? You don't live in the same country as they do?
