Tariffs = small potatotes

Barely even a hiccup in the U.S. economy.

Do you have proof to back up your statement or is this another one of your made up facts?
Did the auto bailouts keep democrats in power?

So just lower credit standards and make 8 year loans available. Nothing says boost the economy like ignore the free market and excess debt.

You actually think auto workers are his base? I don't see it. Does he want jobs to stay in America? Of course. Does he understand the overall costs? He doesn't care.

Did you actually think about what was written or did you knee jerk it.

The answer is knee jerk.

How trump thinks his tariffs are good for any one boggles the mind, this guy is totally mad and will destroy America due to his bungling incompetence.

So?

Who is against free trade? Can you find enough dunces to make this comment worthwhile?

Trump is selling the idea of punitive tariffs. He is either wrong or right but it has to do with so called fair free trade.

Now will one of you ever deal with trade and VAT? How you think that works out? Is trading with a VAT country "free trade"?

Anyway there is and never will be a good economic argument against free trade. However I am not sure why economists are the only ones to be consulted. I can imagine that Germany would not have liked to get its fertilizer from South America in "free trade" which could be cut off. I would guess Russia would look at its national security concerns given its being targeted . How trust worth are our trading partners?
