Damned if he does and damned if he doesn't. If he hadn't gone to El Paso, he would have been criticized for that as well. You and I both know it's true.
The two month old was accompanied by several family members by the way. Because it's also hard for a two month old to actually get anywhere by themselves.
Say what you will, but when citizens refuse to meet with the President of the United States, that says a lot. When Obama traveled to Roseburg Oregon after the Umpqua Community College massacre, he traveled into the NRA Central of Oregon, and was met with massive protests by gun rights advocates, but he still managed to meet with 40 victims and family members. There were no reports of any of them refusing to meet him. That's a little ahead of Trump's one plus a baby. Of course Obama was elected by a majority of Americans, not a minority.

I think it says a lot more about these particular citizens and their biases than it does the President.

Citizens of what country? Do you have a breakdown of patients by citizenship? Honestly, I'm curious and if you do, please share.

Oh and there weren't 40 victims in that shooting. There were nine injured. Maybe you meant that he met with the injured and their family members. As Trump did in Dayton.
And apparently, at least one of these family members DID choose not to meet with Obama.
Quote:
The White House did not provide a list of family members who attended the meeting with the president, but at least one family publicly said they would forego the meeting due to the president's position on gun control.
"On principle, I find that I am in disagreement with his policies on gun control, and therefore, we will not be attending the visit," Stacy Bolan, whose daughter was shot and survived the shooting, told Fox News Channel.
You DOUBT it?
Well, you are particularly well-informed to engage in political debate. Let’s pretend that video evidence that was shown nationwide over and over again doesn’t exist. Its easy to support anyone if you chose to ignore or avoid facts of certain things they’ve said or done that a normal human would find distasteful.
