Doesn't mean he's not a Trump guy, just means he's trying to provide cover for Trump. If he isn't a Trump guy and wasn't trying to protect Trump, why would he even mention him?

The left is also completely ignoring the part of his manifesto railing against the environment being destroyed....
Sure just like all those people who voted for Obama, and later committed violent crimes and use phrases like white privilege are Obama guys.. They did it because they thought Obama would approve.
That guy that shot John Lennon. Yep a Jodie Foster guy to be sure. It was Jodi Foster's fault...
How do people even take themselves seriously when they utter such nonsense?
Jodi Foster didn't tell her followers to "Beat the cr*p" out of other people - nor did she promise to pay their legal bills if they did.
Trump did both of those things - AND MORE.
He mentioned Trump because he knew it was going to be distorted by MSM. It's in the manifesto, read it again if you cannot understand it by reading it once.
Incidentally, let the record show that he is undoubtedly more sympathetic to republicans than democrats:
"So the Democrats are nearly unanimous with their support of immigration while the Republicans are divided over it. At least with Republicans, the process of mass immigration and citizenship can be greatly reduced. "
Yes... he does seem to be less critical of the Republicans.. but holds both accountable. He also blames the more recent influx of immigrants on the Republican controlled senate.

So do many of the RWNJ Trump supporters on this very board. We see it posted regularly.
