Statistically one is more likely to catch a stray bullet in a public place than be killed by an Islamic terrorist. We spend a fortune trying to prevent a terrorist attack.
I’m sorry, it is fear. How many other countries walk around with guns because they are in fear of their lives. And please don’t compare this to being prepared for storms because one has nothing to do with the other.
In most countries they would not be allowed to protect themselves.

I know who carry either served or have used a gun for hunting since they were in elementary school. It is leftists that don't want young people trained on gun safety.
Why would I want a gun. I want to live a peaceful life. I don’t want to live in fear where I felt I needed to carry a gun. That’s just not life for me. And this shouldn’t be for our country.
In most countries they try to keep guns away from crazy people. We`re not most countries.
Then push the government to enforce the current 22,000 gun laws. Almost every mass shooter has been turned in BEFORE they killed anyone. The authorities have refused to investigate. So what good is another law?
