Your post won't be popular, but then again you're dealing with nationalist swine who comically believe that yellow ribbons, flag-waving and stupidity are a virtue.

You probalby have no clue how evil Karl Marx was. Are you actually proud of that user name? I wouldn't be. You obviously do not know history.
I've lived abroad for 2 of my 24 years. I could go over the pluses and minuses tick-for-tack, but it misses the point.
When making a defense of a "side," it's not considered a "rebuttal" to simply say "well they suck, too!"
There is no place in the world that has the "liberty" that Americans enjoy. It is worth living here, and it is worth defending.
Our founders would be rolling over in their graves to know how many people today are so willing to throw away what they created. They knew what tyranny was. Most Americans have no clue. We are getting a sense of it with Obama. That is why people are waking up.
Freedom and liberty is worth fighting for. We must preserve it . America is good. We have always been a beacon of hope to the rest of the world. Shall we join them, and end all hope? Or should we continue the fight for the liberty and freedom of all mankind? Simple question. The answer is obvious.
10 Most Suitable Countries for American Expatriates
Spain Spain has a lower cost of living compared with central and northern Europe. Mix that with its dynamic location and lively culture and it’s clear why Spain has become a top destination for expats from around the world. The European culture will be familiar and accessible for Americans, and getting around speaking only english should be a breeze.
Spain also has historical and cultural wealth that’ll keep any expat’s mind afloat. Also, it’s become an extremely popular destination for college students.
But the list of 10 included South Africa!! South WHAT? Yes, South Africa. Must have been a selection made by the CIA who want to rid the world of ungrateful Americans ... cuz that place is a TOTAL HORROR, and considered the most dangerous place on earth ... more killings than Iraq and Afghanistan happening in S. Africa this moment.
Been all over the world. I have been to some good countries and some real armpits. The USA is flawed... We have party hardliners who can't seem to get past the party dogma or rhetoric long enough to see the parties for what they are, Identical twins.
We have gone from a nation that believed in hard work, personal accountability and responsibility to an entitlement mind set.
I laugh at many of the posters on here.
If you criticize Bush your smart and a good American, but if do the same with Obama you must be a racist.
The deep pockets mentality is ever present. We should tax people of wealth more than anyone because they can afford it.
We should sue at the drop of a hat because insurance companies can afford it. Is anyone other than Joe filing the lawsuit at fault? No, but hey its a big corporation they can afford it.
We suffer societal guilt. We owe the world our blood. It never ends. We could bank roll 1000 Haiti's and it will never be enough.
If someone condemns Israel for the exact same thing Russia did to Georgia then you hate Jews. After all how can we ever forget what the Nazi's did in WWII? All Muslims are bad terrorists and need to be killed.
NO. There are more Asian Muslims than anywhere else and they are a peaceful people for the most part.
We as a nation support dictators and bad guys because it suits us. We condemn a dictators neighbor because the neighbor hates us.
We condemn Syria but support Israel???? We demonstrate a constant double standard and wonder why we are always looked down upon.
The world seems to love China. China gives a lot less than we do. They participate in fewer Haiti like disasters and their business practices by any standard are one sided. And yet they enjoy a higher level of popularity.
Why? Because they mind their own business.
I am a vet and love this country above all others. No contest. I earned the right to criticize our faults. But what I condemn the most above all others are party hardliners who seem to think that their party = Whats best for America. NO the parties are whats wrong with America. The priority of both parties is how to gain as much power as possible at any expence. The health of the nation is just a talking point.
BRAVO tinman01 !!! A Remarkable Post !
Indeed these many vitally dicursive points that you have so wisely indicated in your tremendous post should without a doubt convey an utterly ominious description of the current deplorable workings of America's "Political Circus" and it's "Realpolitik" mindset !
America's once effective political leadership has truly vanished from the land and what we are left with as so called leaders, especially at this particular point in time is the stuff that "Nightmares" are truly made of !
And yet I still get entangled in political arguments for their own sake. I believe the masses deserve their misery. My favorite (abbreviated)greatest hits list:
A literal majority of Americans believe an invisible Jewish Zombie suspended the laws of physics and created the world in about a week. This is with the internet(free education), public library's(free education), and so on.
1 on 7 Americans are on antidepressants. Yes: we live in the greatest age in human history(if lack of sectarian violence, increased technology etc mean anything to you). Really digest that: 1 in 7 people are so utterly miserable that they lent themselves to a doctor(whom they don't know)to prescribe a drug(which they don't understand) to allow them to wake up in the morning without wanting to end it all.
1 in 5 Americans believe Sun revolves around the Earth.
The majority enjoy calling those willing to kill people they've never met for a cause they don't understand "hero's" for a vague sense of community.
I enjoy watching it all crumble. I suggest you consider the same approach, here and elsewhere.
What???! "This place"? Meaning, 'America'? What "history book" did you get that out of?
Our founders were very religious. They gave God credit for this land. They prayed constantly. They sought to do what? Tell me again.
This is ignorance on display. You do not know the history of this country. You have been fed a lie.
Again; what? Are you smokin' something? Are you on drugs?
Sorry. But this is absolutely disgusting. Are you American? Don't sound like one.
What??? Dude, read some history books.Your "god" was never in the Pledge of Allegiance, nor on our money, many of the founding father's were agnostic if not atheists.

...Your "god" was never in the Pledge of Allegiance...
The Pledge of Allegiance was written by an American Socialist as part of a public school Columbus day celebration in 1892.
It caught on and became popular.
The “under God” part was added in 1954 under pressure from the secret Catholic fraternity, The Knight’s of Columbus.
There was much public opposition to this change, but because of political pressure as a result of the McCarthy hearings of the time, it was ‘“officially” adopted.
It became the law of the land and is now generally accepted as the “word of God” as expressed by “the Founding Fathers”.
As an American, no I don't. They say America is a free country. I beg to differ.
I've spoken with too many foreign visitors that are shocked at the volume of laws, rules, regulations, license requirements here to sing this delusional song of freedom. Of course, none coming from the UK, as they literally are choking from the jack boot standing on their throats.
In principle, and if our constitution was not being used as a door mat for communist left and the neo-fascist right, all that propaganda could be true.
I'm a patriot, and die-hard constitutionalist at heart, but pragmatic and observant, and not delusional. Consequently, I just don't see how such a large segment of the population can remain so bamboozled for so long about so many things. This isn't rose colored glasses here, this is thick black wool pulled over the eyes. Heads buried so deep in the sand, all you can make out are toes.
Are things too far gone to correct it? I don't know. On the one hand I see a number of people waking up, yet at the same time, way too many that haven't a clue, and for those who do, I don't see enough with the stones to stand tall.
Skyrocketing taxes, lost jobs, industry moved off shore, the dollar dying, and a government lying ... two wars we see, another one we don't, and another on the horizon ... debt that can never be repaid ... and gangsters looting the treasury .... all of this with a bare whimper from the public. Now there are naked body scanners, and talk of forced healthcare insurance, more raises in taxes .... and the light at the end of the tunnel appears to be a freight train coming straight at us.
Sure, I'm optimistic.
