I hope so because you know how fast 3 years can fly by in the NFL. It doesn't have feel like Andy Reid has been good 3 years from the eagles so you know it can fly by so quickly.
What's Petty's bowl record? I'm not keen on the Baylor offense and Big12 QBs as a whole. I know that's not a good reason. But the recent ones seem to be struggling... Tannehill is probably doing the best and I wouldn't want him either. These kids are stat guys... I want a winner. Not a stat guy.
Hundley is just inconsistent. Fine if we get him in a REALLY late round. But I would rather wait on a better prospect than either of those guys. I'm just tired of us settling for adequate.
None of them are better than Weeden in my opinion, so we may as well stick with him.

i can see your point, but i think hundley gets a bad rap for taking too many sacks when playing behind an inexperienced offensive line, and it also doesnt help his consistency either. as for petty, he did lose the only two bowl games he played in, but the last game he played in he threw for 550 yards, and nearly won that game.
i think both players are much better than weedon is, and besides i dont think the cowboys can wait for anu solomon to graduate(he is a freshmen).

I hear ya on them being better prospects than Weeden. They probably are... I only say keep Weeden because we already have him and I don't think are worth more than another draft pick. And Weeden is cheap.
Barring injury we don't need a QB for 2 or 3+ years. I would just rather use the pick on a DB and DL where we have serious needs. A LB wouldn't be a bad idea either...
so dallas has decided to stick with beefing up their defense this time around, four defensive players, a DE, CB, and two LBs, and one OT. we shall see what they have in mind for their two seventh round picks.
I assume Randle, Dunbar and McFadden gonna be used as a trio....hope they can keep a good run game to take some weight off Romo.
yep, running back by committee again. maybe it will work this time, or perhaps one will step up and become the number one back. i figure either mcfadden or randle.

I think McFadden will be featured But I think the 'Boys have talent at RB. I think Gurley and Gordon were the RB's on their radar but obviously fell off before the 'Boys could pick.

those two may have been on the boys radar, but they were not interested enough to trade up to get them.
