I don't get guys who get so pissed off at just being hit on. That doesn't mean sexual harassment of course.

To the OP. Maybe you're afraid to admit you like the attention?

Or maybe its something on the way I dress that's giving off a false vibe to those people?
Must be. Or you are cute. For some reason you are causing the gaydar to ping.

What can you do to stop it? Gosh I dont know. Probably not much or maybe you could try a different look.

Are you getting hit on by girls, too?

Why not just say 'no thanks, I'm straight' and leave it at that?
Yeah, that's what I was thinking. The thread parent should be flattered if he's attractive to guys (and presumably girls).

Right. You can't stop people from looking at you in public unless you decide to wear a burka, and you can't control if other people find you attractive. As long as they're not being inappropriate (which isn't the same as you not appreciating their appreciation) just ignore them or politely decline.

Perhaps you should delete your "Grinder" app.
That should help.

Why the hell would a straight guy be flattered by gay dudes hitting on him?

Multiply that by about 10 (since there are way more straight men than gay men) and you know what young attractive women feel like.

Being considered attractive is generally a good thing.

Uh, because it means he's attractive. Did you really have to ask that?
