That’s really expensive wow. What if it doesn’t work? Would you have to pay another 20 thousand? l
I did IVF several times and medical insurance covered some of it. So no, a person doesn't have to be rich. Success rates go up every year and have steadily gone up since IVF was invented back in the late 1970s.

ah, okay! that’s really good because it makes it accessible to everyone, not just people who have the means to pay straight out of their wallet for it.

ellie, no one will do that if you're capable of getting pregnant without it. You have to have documented infertility problems.
If you just want to be pregnant and not in a relationship, AI is the way you go.
OP, you do not understand that because you are not a man. men respond differently to not having sex, than women.
For a certain type of female, as far as her life goal is fulfilled, sex becomes of no interest. Unfortunately, if that female is not a smart one, or is not really vested into her husband/partner emotionally, as in - has no more respect to him, does not really care about him, as "where the heck he'll go", she WILL forfeit satisfying that very important aspect of any man - real man - life. Sex.
Masturbation works only for so long. There is no person to person energy exchange. Man is desire, and that desire has to be satisfied routinely, with sex being one of the best ways to accomplish this. Real man without real sex goes cookoo and I am absolutely not surprised that he will adulterate with anyone available. In matriarchal society, favoring females in divorce, no wonder man will take a safer route of finding a sex partner, than divorcing.
Smart woman, on the other hand, WILL make sure that man is sexually exhausted. There are many ways to accomplish this, even if she's no particularly into normal coitus.
Also, what this accomplishes, is that it shows man that he is valued by his woman. As the result, it binds him to her tighter and tighter.
There is great South Park episode on this matter:

I'd absolutely recommend to watch it, as a great visual aid.

IVF is even cheaper at overseas clinics. In the Czech Republic you'd pay about 5 or 10K, not 20K. Although success rates are not as high as US clinics.
I knew of a couple, I think in their mid-30s, that had sex only once a month...and...they were okay with it! Not sure I buy it. I know at least one person that wouldn't be okay with that arrangement.
I agree with this. Sure, most guys want and "would like" to have sex every day. But that is MENTAL. Do they want to do much of anything to get it? Lots would not - it's easier to play video games or watch p0rn than to have to do something as exhausting and time consuming as foreplay to get sex. I'm kind of joking here, but not completely. Some guys talk a good game but if they had a woman who was really wanting it every day, there'd be a lot that just couldn't keep up in reality!
But guys are kind of expected to complain to other guys about their woman not putting out, etc. - it's a bonding thing, I think.
exactly. and that's what annoys me, bc it's just another stereotype that they fall in to and perpetuate, and it's like they don't even know what they want, or it seems like they're always trying to get what they don't have - the stereotype is that most girls want a relationship, and to "tie the guy down", and so naturally they resist that, but if they meet a girl who just wants to have fun and see where it goes - well, they don't know what to do with that. It seems like every guy I've dated has acted like they're in love from the beginning, I don't know if they're just so thrilled to have someone "cool" that needs space and is the opposite of most girls, or if they're just trying to tie me down bc they think I don't want a relationship or something. I dunno. but it reminds me of that classic sex & the city episode, the stereotypical scenario where the construction worker catcalls miranda, and unlike how it usually goes, she turns around and is like "yeah, you wanna go out?", and he's like *looks around sheepishly* "jeez lady, I'm married" like seriously, wtf? I feel like that's the epitome of male behavior.

But that's not fair. That's literally what I'm afraid of. If a husband loves his wife, he should be able to understand her need to not have sex often if she doesn't want to. It's so disrespectful, careless and inconsiderate of someone to make their spouse have sex with them just to satisfy their own needs. Especially because it's someone they love, and if you're married love should be a given.
I don't think it's anybody's business but that couple. And I imagine she told your mother trusting that she wouldn't tell anybody. We can see how that went, can't we?????
I don’t know why but I just feel like after getting married, I would be uncomfortable having sex often. Especially after having kids what if they overheard? I don’t know. I also am weird when it comes to intimacy.
then you'll probably never have to worry about it.
