There are many true co-equal Gods, you are might simply too impure to be aware of them. These Gods all existed co-eternally and needed no cause. It's all supernatural, you wouldn't understand. The Boddhisattvas are of course more Powerful then these Gods (Demiurges), since the Boddhisattvas are Enlightened Beings.
So what exactly is this "water down treatment"? Are you talking about when YHWH divorced his wife Ashera? That's only because Ashera reached ultimate nirvana while YHWH refused to stop clinging to His wretched existence, seeking instead to satisfy his gluttony for jealousy and lust of undeserved-adoration.
Still, the Atheists do so deny them. It's sad really.
I hold no intrest in man made gods and their human followers supersticious surreal spirituality;
by default there can only be one God, by humanity there can be thousands.
By human imagination there can be multiple gods, by Gods imagination the world was made;
Part of the watered down treatment is the first humans getting impatient with their unseen God, and deciding to fashion their own gods that they can see; to fashion their own false insecurity by developing these gods and their elongated stories- which was part of the origin of fables and meaningless myths.
All false gods take their image from the real God, they steal from him their gimmicks and lures that attract the minds of men who need to hold to at least a man made image of the aura of the creator.
Why do Atheist daily post on a religious and Spirituality message board; because they are intrested in God. Their not intrested in the people who believe, their intrested in God and will go to incredible talented defensive denials to hide or cloak that fact.

Why do you keep posting things about God all the time? Perhaps you don't believe in him as much as you think you do. Maybe you just want some postive reforcement on what you believe.

Most Atheist are hypicritical about their intrest in God; its like a man saying that he is not intrested in a girl, but he hangs out around her house everyday- Atheist hang out at religious venues everyday.
Kind of reminds me of a group that believes Ice Cream is a danger to humans, so they set out to eradicate it from the whole earth, bringing their list of supposed dangers with them ( because the Ice Cream is only the first issue on their growing agenda).
