Pat answers like this are annoying, IMHO. No offense. But what the person is saying, I believe, is that God leaves an awful lot up to chance, conjection, ect. Why doesn't He just speak OUT LOUD to all of us if our eternal destinies are hanging in the balance?

Your conscience is a mere mental reflection of what you have decided is right or wrong, nothing more. Such being the case, no I don't have a god given consceince, only one that I have developed for myself.

How do you "decide" what is right and wrong? Right and wrong could easily be defined as what brings you the most benefit or disadvantage. It could be totally selfish--is it?
