Yes, I just had a call on my caller id from MN DFL - did I answer? No. Hate politics. I want them to start over and get 2 decent people.

But, considering the ages of the 2 candidates I would think they would be concerned about senior issues. They are both seniors.

This first session was to take shots at each other to gain leverage. You know, wound the other person now so it's easier to take him/her down later.

Gawd I hate politics.

Got my flu shot yesterday. Free under my Medicare Advantage Plan. There was no line either. Haven't missed an annual flu shot in about 15 years.

This is an oxymoron.

I'm much more interested in foreign affairs, climate change, infrastructure, gun control, urban planning & zoning issues, military actions, and a myriad of other issues - rather than anything having to do with a focus on middle-class seniors or a focus on the large group of boomers.

Government is way more than just self-interest. And calling it government rather than politics puts it in a perspective of going for the greatest good and a perspective of governing.

Flu shots have been free for just about everyone under all insurance plans since 2010.

Didn't realize that but it makes a lot of sense. It's cheaper for them to give us a flu shot than to treat us for the flu if we get it.

We did too. just around the corner at Safeway which is easier and faster than the Dr. I like the Advantage Plan.

Got my flue shot yesterday & unfortunately it was the first time my body reacted to it. Bad timing as it is my birthday today & did not feel good all day. Oh well, at least I'm protected for the year. I'll be smarter next year & not get it by my birthday.
