In the late fifties, early sixties, there was this round, plastic thing with a straw attached to it . . .you would put ice cream in the round thing and sip soda (root beer) through the straw. I LOVED this item - it was so much fun.

Also Nehi soda and rainbow double popsickles (they actually melted). Popsickles these days do not melt.

I remember something very similar. It was a round hollow ball with a tube on each end....that would fit perfectly into the top of a pop bottle. The ball would snap apart in the middle, put in the ice cream, snap back together, put one end into the bottle of pop.....drink out of the other end.

Instant float!

Yep! That is it, exactly. I don't know what to call it to try to find it - I thought maybe "satellite" or something like that, but I don't know.
