Angry "10 Items or Less" lanes

Aaaaaarrrrrrgggh! Gotta vent a little. Does it drive anyone else crazy when you have one or two items at the good 'ol HEB, you go to the "10 items or less" lane, and there's people in there with TONS of items?!! I mean, 11 or 12 things, no biggie ~ maybe they just miscounted. By 19 or 20???!!! Just got back from there, and the 2 orders in front of me each had right at 20 items. Can people not count???!!! And why aren't the cashiers instructed to at least ask the customer to use a different lane next time? Yeesh.

When they are in line like that in front of my I ask them "are you a math major that can't read or an english major that can't count?"...you would be amazed at the reactions! To date, only one person said "sorry" and jumped out of line. Doesn't do much about the fact that they are in the wrong line, but watching them try to figure out the statement is VERY entertaining, and the cashier normally laughs really hard!

Ha Ha Ha!!! But see, you can get away with that because you have the worlds most absolutely lovely, soothing voice. Your beautiful voice probably adds to their confusion!! LOL!!! they're probably thinking, "Did that dear sweet woman actually say that???" ROFLOL!!

I posted a pic of a huge spider that was on my fence (biggest I've seen outside of a zoo).

I was mowing the lawn and nearly walked into the web - freaked me out!

I use the self checkouts whenever possible (why doesn't the new walmart on potranco have them?). I can't remember where it occurred but I have seen cashiers ask people to use a different line because of the number of items. Might have been when we were in N. Virginia.

great pic goodmanm!!! Voted for ya. I love those spiders ~ they're so pretty! We used to have them alot when we lived in the country. There was one that lived outside my daughter's bedroom window. She named it Charlotte. Shortly after that, the exterminator came (we had him out frequently to spray for scorpions and centipedes) and we forgot to tell him to avoid that area. Poor Charlotte, met her apropos death.

(that was a morbid post, huh? )
