I think after last night I really want Thia to go home. While she has an incredible voice she seemingly has no clue about who she wants to be as a singer. She said last night she just wanted to be Thia but all the songs she has chosen have been ballads. There is nothing wrong with that but when the judges ask you then say so, stand up for yourself, which all may be due to her young age.
I have yet to really settle on a favorite, hopefully things will become clearer as the weeks go on.
Well, I loved Karen. And when she sang last night it was beautiful. And I watched james' performance again, because I was a bit distracted and it was as incredible as always. I only said he was good, but man he really came through again.
I just looked up their video on youtube of that song from last night and according to youtube it was recorded in Japan the week before the tsunami and you could definately tell it was Fergie on the video, but on the video she didn't dance either. Everthing is different - lips, full face, eyes - I seem to remember her lips being fuller. Maybe she is prego - that might explain some of it but not all of it.

I think I sat through the whole performance trying to figure out it if was really her, I tend to agree it wasn't her.
I'm glad Karen is gone, she would have left eventually... but I do NOT like Haley. She's so boring and she chooses the wrong song every time.
I like Naima, I liked her version of Umbrella, and while I wasn't a fan this week I still want her around for awhile.
Personally... I cannot stand Jacob Lusk. He's just way too much for me. I really like Paul, but I'm also a huge Rod Stewart fan so... it's kind of a given that I'd like Paul.

Casey needs something new. I really loved him in the beginning, now it seems too forced. He is disappointing me. Seems like a nice person, but the "gimick" has to go. He needs to be himself.

I disagree with you on Stefano, but I really like James as well. Lauren is the best girl by far, Pia is way to old/boring for me.
I think the Casey you're seeing is the real Casey. Yes, some people are that weird... and I love it. Did you see his parents? That explains a lot.
Danny was just ok, that's it. They played him and his sad story way up and you see he's not really gone anywhere since the run on Idol.
I'm still waiting.... to know what Paul is doing on this show. He can't sing worth a darn.
Another episode down and still missing Simon. Somebody has to tell it like it is.
