The only ones that I could stand to listen to an entire album of them singing would be Sam, Majesty Rose, and MK.
MK is not doing a good job in highlighting her singing ability. If you go to Youtube you can see she really rocks, but she's not bringing that to the stage on American Idol. I agree with one of the judges who said he wonders "if she really wants to be here."
I listened to the first couple of contestants and couldn't stand the singing, so I started flipping channels like last week and when I came back to see if the coast was clear again, I got to hear Ben Briley (sp) and enjoyed his singing. When I listened to the judges discuss his performance though, I started wondering about what we hear through our tv speakers vs what they hear live ????
I think I'll just stick with the Voice ! Too many posters here talking about poor little Adam Lambert from xx seasons ago (uhhh, it's really time to get over him losing now ) and not enough chat on the current contestants.

They didn't give Majesty a break either but she was good.
Who was the girl who sang the church song? I thought her voice sounded horrid at the very end -- but the judges liked it and didn't comment on that.
Malaya or something like that. I think she might be going home tonight. In my opinion she's one of those whom the judges should have declined and told her to come back in the future. She could have used more maturing of her voice and singing skills.
Last night was so boring I forgot to watch, even though it was on.
I'm not an AI watcher. Never have been. I made somewhat of an attempt to watch it this year. I think I've watched maybe 5 shows total. It's a horrible show. I guess it will never appeal to me.
