eh, I had posted above that I think they can reconcile both the Meereen & Wintefell storylines with the books without a huge deal of effort. Some characters are different and some are consolidated into one (i.e., Tyrion & Ser Jorah taking the place of Ser Barristan & The Shavepate). Some of the details will be different, obviously, but the major characters will end up in the same place.
Example - if book Sansa gets raped by Harry the Heir (not the sadist Ramsay is, but definitely not a nice guy and also has two bastard children at 16), kills him and then leads an army of Vale Knights to retake Winterfell, is that all that different than if Littlefinger brings an army of Vale Knights to Winterfell to rescue TV Sansa, who has killed Ramsay? (if she does...)
I hate Stannis and, after tonight, predict that his demise will come by Davos' hands.
Also, I'm over Dany. The only thing that makes me look forward to her scenes now is Tyrion. We'll see what happens to him after tonight, though.
