You just proved you dont know what you are talking about so you had to compare America to China! The fact of the matter is that typical McDonalds workers have far better wages and benefits in lots of countries than America and MORE people are working in those countries than in America.

Public transit is usually lousy as well so he or she will have car ownership as a big extra expense. The min wage earner in America can become homeless at any moment and there is no social safety net to ensure that he or she will have a home and enough money to eat. Yet, here you are claiming that it is better for that person in America than in other developed countries like Switzerland, Australia and Denmark! HAHA!
No, you are living in a liberal bubble, and denying reality.

I never said that the sick leave, child care, and more is great in America. You just made that up. What I said is that you have been lied to, it is not that great in Europe either. The benefits are overrated, the minimum wage is not that high, and it is very hard to live a low cost lifestyle.

There are lots of homeless in Europe, take a look outside the tourist attractions. And if do you get a place by the government, it is often in a hostel filled with drug addicts. Not exactly a family friendly place.

The EU unemployment rate is massively higher than the USA's.

You just did. You just used a laughable way to measure "purchasing power" without taking into account the countless benefits minimum wage workers enjoy in other countries which DRAMATICALLY improves their purchasing power over American McDonalds workers.

You dont get "a place from the government" if you are out of money in other developed countries. If you have no money, your rent will be paid until you find another job.

You can claim that highly subsidized child care, tuition free higher education, no out-of-pocket costs for health care and prescription drugs, 1 year paid family leave, public transit, overtime pay, 5 weeks paid vacations etc all suck in other developed countries so it is useless, but it is not a proper argument. Its just mindless ranting.

No, I just gave you an OECD link which shows that the countries with the highest wages for McDonalds workers have substantially more people working than America. Labor force participation in America is pretty pathetic actually.

Keep in mind other countries take advantage of the US in trade. TRUMP will fix that, then maybe wages will start to rise again. Remember more jobs means more opport unity diversity.

Of course, thats because you have to include highly corrupt and deeply troubled southern European countries like Italy, Greece and Spain. They have always been corrupt and had many third world aspects to their economy (for example a huge informal economy where people claim to be unemployed and work under the table at the same time). Its like adding Mexico into the "North American" economy.

That's a facts based article there.

The fight for $15 or the fight of any kind that seeks to lift up the wages of workers will be meet with doom and gloom lies/fear mongering from rich people and their sycophants in the media.

Every company that has moved jobs overseas should have to pay a 300% 'sail boat' tax for every item that gets shipped to the US for consumption.
