Posted 07-04-2021 at 09:19 PM by Albert Finch (How Do I Advance My Spiritual Life?)

"My Father is working until now, and I Myself am working." - John 5:17

We work and partner with what He is already doing in Heaven. The father works in heaven and we work with the Holy Spirit on earth. "So Jesus said to them, Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of his own accord, but only what he "sees" the Father doing. For whatever the Father does, that the Son does likewise."

We are totally dependent on the Holy Spirit...

America's Birthday, And Flags Are Flying Everywhere

Posted 07-04-2021 at 11:38 AM by case44 (Welcome To Case's Column)

The other day, I was listening to Oldies 97.7 FM out of Lubbock (via my smartphone, of course), and I couldn't help but notice some musicianship that was out of sync on an old song. It was The Rolling Stones on a version of the...

Posted 07-03-2021 at 11:17 PM by rodentraiser

Well, I've had the trailer for three weeks but I have yet to move in. There were a few things I needed to buy so when my SSDI check came in a couple days ago, I went on a shopping spree.

I bought a bed, sheets, microwave, toilet, septic hose, and a bunch of other stuff. I got the washer and dryer up on their pallets ( shed for them comes later), I was going to connect the water, we got the propane set up so I could cook in the new trailer, and I planned to get all my things out of...

Ordinary People

Posted 07-03-2021 at 10:44 PM by Albert Finch (How Do I Advance My Spiritual Life?)

"One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in His temple." - Psalm 27:4
