Manufactures can make as many vehicles as they want their assembly plants can just keep on making them so space is not the problem. Some plants are running 3 shifts to meet the demand look at Fords Ranger assembly plant.
Is it any coincidence the new Ford Ranger looks like the Ram's full-size 1500 from the front?
And so does many SUVs look the same from the rear, what’s your point, you think Ford is copying FCA?, you do know that it’s against the law to copy a copyright design. GM had to redesign the Hummer front grill because it looked like a Jeep grill.
I wanted the Hemi but that is wife's car and she wanted the V6....it's smooth, quiet and gets remarkable mileage considering the weight. My Hellcat has the Hemi with a supercharger and that's one seriously bad ass motor.

Actually, you have that completely wrong. For some incredibly obtuse reason a judge found that GM's usurping of Jeeps iconic seven slot grill did not result in copyright or trademark infringement. That grill stayed on those Hummers for as long as they were made - which was much too long.

I stand corrected but you see what i was trying to say. If people think that other automakers are stealing other automakers designs is ridiculous.

Glad to hear these happy reviews of the V6... maybe I'll spend a bit more and buy a (basic) GC
instead of a Subaru.
A Hemi with a supercharger... yes, that is definitely an OMFG engine.
Yes, it is true that sedan sales are down across the board.
However, it is also true, that the overwhelming majority of sedans sold, are sold by the European and Asian manufacturers.
The other truth is the American manufacturers don't really have an answer other than concede the market and sell pickups.
That's truly sad and pathetic.
No it's not. Those Asian and European manufacturers sell sedans all over the world, so the US market is just a small part of their total sales, whereas the American manufacturers sell sedans primarily in the US market, which is a shrinking market. American manufacturers will continue to produce what sells in the US, which are pickups and CUVs/SUVs. Which doesn't bother me at all, as it's highly unlikely I'll ever own another sedan, regardless of where it's built.

Where did you pull that one out of?
It's as if they're making a mockery. "Their big truck looks just like... our little truck!"
The big three have been in the business far too long to try to copy one another in any egregious violation of law, but they seem to have perfected the art of the jab and I think we will continue to see design teams and marketing teams make subtle statements to turn competing manufacturers' flagship models into a running joke.
Yes perhaps but the Lincoln Aviator that’s based on the new Explorer is in that market and it’s VERY VERY GOOD.
Seems after years to the contrary, they've finally started making things that actually look good. What ever were they thinking before that.....
