To be a pastor, it's assumed one is a Christian. But having said that, a pastor should be in fellowship with other pastors. I fellowship weekly with a group of men in my area and we pray for each other and hold each other accountable.
But how is it you can call people to repentance but you pastors are not calling each other to repentance ?. Or why can't the people you call to repentance, pray for each other and hold each other accountable like you pastors do ?. Saving you a job of interfering in other folks life's

Well that's a handy way to keep the parishioners in the dark about the sins of the pastors.
Why would you want to belong to a church where the pastor is committing public sin? You got two choices: Have him removed and replaced or find a new church. If the entire leadership is in cahoots with him, best to leave, no?
In my experience, we had a pastor who became involved in a sexual sin. The deacons/elders removed him quickly, once the facts were confirmed.

Actually, any of my church members are welcome to meet and pray with us. Some have before, and the elders in my peers' churches often join us. So, really...why the snarky attitude? Our are seeing issues where none exist.
