Yea, I smoke weed, its again the law and thus a sin, but it isnt to me. I dont care who says that its wrong, they put themselves in my shoes, they would do the same thing.
That goes for.illegal pharmaceutical drugs, if I get my hands on them, I dont see sin in it, but again, thats me.
If there was in mercy, a doctor would give me pain medication but since they changed the laws, nobody can get pain medication. I know several old people like me with severe arthritis, severe back problems with multiple ruptured discs needing surgery, and they cant get a stupid vicodin lol. So many people committed suicide over those laws because they just couldn't deal anymore.
That is where I am right now, if I knew somebody with heroin, I would stockpile it and never feel a tad of guilt right up to the point of welcoming death when it kills me.
Jehovah's witnesses are not against legitimate drugs for medical purposes Hans. We do not support recreational drug use.
Let me first say that I have never smoked a cigarette in my life. Now let me say this - "HELL NO!".
Many Assemblies of God and other Pentecostal churches will not permit anyone to be a member if they smoke or drink. Even an occasional glass of wine.
Or allow girls to wear jeans
When I was a teen my brothers argued with my mother to let me wear jeans and finally wore her down
I don’t smoke and also don’t believe it is a sin, however I also do believe that it is not healthy in excess. Just like over consumption of sugar is related to diabetes and obesity it is about imbalance rather than sin. Christianity is not supposed to be about forcing people to be healthy, it is supposed to be about influence and education

Yea, there is some East Texas churches like that, all women have to wear their hair a certain way and all these other weird things. There for a few years I must have visited every church in Texas, I mean I went to church almost every night and that is not easy at all finding a church every night. I went to a really strange church like that and some people invited over to their house. Well, I began talking about a scripture and they all turned around and looked at me like they was all having a dying duck fit.
Asked me to leave if I wanted to talk about the bible, they were strictly forbidden to even read the bible.

What were some of the east texas towns that you were at back then? I live in east texas.
My family was from Troup outside Tyler by way of Whitehouse.
I dont remember the names of those Pentecostal churches, and I had been to so many that I wouldn't have remembered back then. I was on a mission back then, if you could call my extreme compulsions, "missions."
I was looking for the right person for a couple years like that until I found him in a Pentecostal church on I-10 outside of Katy Texas, and then I stopped going to church altogether.
