"You search the scriptures for in them you think you have eternal life & they are they which testify of me....
BUT BUT BUT
You will not come to Me that you may have life."
"You have your heads in your Bibles constantly because you think you’ll find eternal life there. But you miss the forest for the trees. These Scriptures are all about me! And here I am, standing right before you, and you aren’t willing to receive from me the life you say you want." -MSG
You got that right Rosey, I believe I will stick with my God.
Paul wrote that Christians are not under the law (Romans 6:14), that we are dead to the law (Romans 7:4, Galatians 2:19) and that we are delivered from the law (Romans 7:6).
This amounts to the understanding that if I am in Christ, "all things are lawful for me."
Which is not to say that every and any behaviour is desirable for me as a believer.
Addictive behaviours are definitely off-limits for the believer (except for being "addicted to the ministry of the saints", 1 Corinthians 16:15); because Jesus said, "the truth shall make you free." (John 8:32)
Yes sir, I fully agree with this. Glad you clarified.
Hebrew 10 tells us that the blood of bulls and goats could never take away sins, only the blood of the Messiah could do such a thing. Old Testament sacrifices only pointed towards Christ's sacrifice, a reminder of what was to comes eventually.

Richard, just wondering, why do you hang out with the Christians and you believe none of it?
I don't see you trying to prove Jesus was not the Christ, but you deny Him when someone presents Him.
So why have conversation with us, is there a particular reason for it? Is there something you're looking to find?
I appreciate Richard's participation, Charlie. I do not know what he seeks from this forum, but he has helped me solve some serious misunderstandings about the Jews, especially the spirituality in the Torah revealed by the Kabbalah and the import of their diligent and disciplined commitment to God.
Just because you don't believe the New Covenant scripture doesn't mean it's not true.
The true believer in Christ loves the Jews, we pray for the peace of Jerusalem as the scripture asks us to.
We have respect for Israel knowing how much God loves them, the promises He has made to them and will in the future fulfill.
We see Israel as God's chosen people who were called for a special mission from God, and even though they failed in that mission, God in His mercy and love for Israel is yet to bring them to a superior position in this world.
The day is coming when the haters of Israel will bow before the Jews, in fact, the entire world will honor the Jews as God's chosen or they will be punished. That the world may know that their God has loved them and watched over them.
Zech. 8:20-23
"Thus saith the Lord of hosts; It shall yet come to pass, that there shall come people, and the inhabitants of many cities:
And the inhabitants of one city shall go to another, saying, Let us go speedily to pray before the Lord, and to seek the Lord of hosts: I will go also.
Yea, many people and strong nations shall come to seek the Lord of hosts in Jerusalem, and to pray before the Lord.
Thus saith the Lord of hosts; In those days it shall come to pass, that ten men shall take hold out of all languages of the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, saying, We will go with you: for we have heard that God is with you."
If they will not come Zech, tells that that nation will receive no rain, the nation of Egypt is pointed out as receiving this punishment.
Zech. 14:17-20
"And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain.
And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain; there shall be the plague, wherewith the Lord will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.
This shall be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all nations that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles."
