The divine council does have corrupt members. The nations were given to the angels who then ruled over those nations unjustly. The prince of Persia in Daniel 10:13 was one such angel. No human prince could have withheld the angel to whom Michael, one of the chief princes had to come and help. It is these corrupt angels who are behind the gods of mythology, the gods such as Baal for instance.
And G-d left these corrupt judges in His Devine council?...
And G-d left these corrupt judges in His Devine council?...
There is a layering
Eph 6:10**Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
Eph 6:11**Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
Eph 6:12**For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
The divine council is at a lower level than the highest
But higher than the flesh and blood individual level
No, I’m against Christians claiming that they have a better understanding of Jewish writings than the Jews themselves...
Goes both ways
The point is that both the individual Jew and Christian are on the same level of having limited knowledge and understanding, and have bias and partiality inbred because of indoctrination
And the scholars themselves also have limited knowledge and understanding because of that same indoctrination

Being a Jew does not magically make one an expert of the Hebrew Scriptures. A non-Jewish scholar who has studied the Hebrew Scriptures can certainly have a better understanding of the Hebrew Scriptures than a Jewish person regardless of your opinion on the matter.

I wouldn’t say it goes both ways...We just are against the way in which christians try to change the meaning of our scriptures, we don’t go about trying to change or alter the meaning of Christian scripture...

And this is now going off topic.
Only if he studies them without preconceived notions...And I’d say being a Jew does, we wrote them...
So, G-d’s holding council with a sinful council?...
