Lubbock is more similar to Ft Worth. It's about 32 miles closer than Dallas and the West begins in Ft. Worth.

Is Grand Rapids more similar to Ft Wayne or Buffalo?

Ft. Wayne. Similar cultures and not as urban as Buffalo.

Is Roanoke more similar to Charleston, WV or Knoxville, TN?

I'd say Knoxville. Which is more similar to Cheyenne, WY; Bartlesville, OK or Manhattan, KS?

I will choose Bartlesville, it strikes me as more "Western" to me

Buffalo, smaller metros than Chicago, Canadian influence, safer.

Columbus. NHL hockey teams, power 5 colleges, capitals and largest cities of their respective states.

Is Jersey City, NJ more similar to Fort Lauderdale, FL or Tacoma, WA?

Ft. Lauderdale. Major secondary cities part of a larger region, Jersey shore and beach cultures. Gentrifying areas, nice shopping.

Is Ft. Worth more similar to Oakland or Baltimore?

Oakland. Both close to the larger, more well known city in their respective metros. Both have large Black and Latino populations. Both are more blue collar than the larger city in their metro. Which is more like Oklahoma City; Wichita KS or Omaha NB?

Omaha... Wichita may be more culturally similar, but Omaha, being a larger city with a stronger economy and a much more vibrant urban core, is more on par with a city of OKC's stature.

Is Boise more similar to Spokane or Reno?
