Wow, that one is almost perfectly balanced. Not that I know much about any of these, but I'm going to have to give the slight edge to Lafayette because it probably has roughly similar name recognition to Tuscaloosa, but more so than Conway.

Akron based on being more rustbelt influenced. Akron was a very important city and still holds influence in NE Ohio.
Is Wilmington, DE more similar to Milwaukee or Cleveland.

Palm Beach... Both are relatively affluent (although I know SM has modest neighborhoods) communities located on the ocean. Culturally I'd figure these two to be more similar.

Denver. Same peer group. Lots of growth, sprawl, and overall happy places.
Is Atlanta more similar to New York or Los Angeles?
Pensacola due to gulf coast culture, faster population growth, strong military presence, tourism.
Is Charlotte more similar to Denver or Austin?
Denver. Is Tulsa more similar to Wichita KS or Springfield MO?
