Foliage map update. Don't forget to make a report with an optional picture to attach. Everyone should be at least starting to "turn" so that should be a turning report unless every single tree is still green where you are. Then report it as green. And if you see a bunch of trees with moderate colors then report it as moderate for that specific area.

I don't mind walking or driving, I would rather park and walk however.

Some vivid colors out there this year. Dry stretches and cool nights.

We might be peaking in a couple weeks.

Here's Route 7 Wilton, CT. I would say 75% of trees have color on them. 5% peaked like this one. 20% still green in the lower Fairfield area..

The mt. Pocono area was spectacular last weekend -- vibrant colors like I haven't seen for awhile.

Pretty amazing colors out there. This was deep green about 5 weeks ago.

I remember in 2011 we were blowing leaves in December because they only were "starting" to change at the end of November

Something tells me we'll have bare trees by Nov 1st.

Looks like the average is mid November for bare trees there.

I think it might be the beginning of November this year. I don't see warm spells to slow things down either.

Connecticut Fall Foliage

Past peak is brown.

October 31 - November 6

November 7 - November 14

Lots of Reds and Oranges this year compared to the typical blah yellows/oranges. Usually see this much color more around Nov 1st.
